Rock-n-Roll University (RNRU), a music school that teaches children and adults of all abilities, is proud to announce that their student bands have been selected to perform at the world-famous Jones Beach Bandshell, located on the Jones Beach Boardwalk, this summer concert season. RNRU bands are unique in that they are comprised of a mix of typical children, and individuals with special needs. RNRU will be in concert on July 11th, August 1st, and August 29th from 8pm-10:30pm.
Media is invited to RNRU to watch these talented individuals rehearse for the upcoming concert season, and show the world how the power of rock-n-roll can bring people together.
RNRU supports inclusionary participation within their performance groups. Children and people of all abilities perform together on the same stage; with each child performing in one, or more, bands. RNRU supports a positive social atmosphere for children, and their families.
Live at The Shell: The 2017 Jones Beach Bandshell Concert Series runs through Sunday, September 3rd.
